If  Windows Firewall is blocking a program and you want to allow that program to communicate through the firewall, you can usually do that by selecting the program in the list of allowed programs (also called the exceptions list) in Windows Firewall. To learn how to do this,

Firewall is a strategy to protect your computer from hacker and virus from the outside that want to log to you computer or try to log to your network that you not allow.

Firewall have 2 types is Firewall Software & Firewall Hardware.

            + Firewall Software have Build-in OS, Ms ISA, I net protector, GFI, Antivirus Internet Security.

            + Firewall Hardware have CISCO PIX(ASA), Watch guard(Fire Box-X), Sonic wall, ISA.

General many big company such as Banking, Organization, Government,... is a popular used Hardware Firewall than Software Firewall because is good, use electric a little, ISO don't have problems, and have full functions for control.

How to put Firewall in window XP2 and Window 7

            + this is a sign that show us the computer have Firewall

            + go to Control Panel => Windows Firewall => selected off(not recommended) => ok or right click on icon NIC and click on Change Windows Firewall Settings => selected off(recommended) => ok

- note: in general Firewall On its mean Open or lock is another PC_s  cannot copy data from the PC that open firewall but computer that used firewall can copy from the PC don't used firewall.  

- note: in general Firewall On its mean Open or lock and allow to another PC can copy data from your PC, and can access data across the Network need to Firewall Scan.

 - note: if we closed the Firewall so network unknown we need to check the Firewall in program Antivirus like Kaspersky Internet Security, Trend Macro Internet Security you need to know Services Firewall open or not. Or we need to check service our window like server & workstation.
